Through this multi-narrative psychological drama, Alejandro stitches four stories that take place in different counties ( 3 continents ) beautifully. Gustavo Santaolalla’s score for Babel can easily be considered one of the best scores of all times.

Nawal (Lubna Azabal), a dying Middle Eastern woman living in Montreal, leaves separate letters to her twin children to be read once she passes away. Jeanne (Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin) is to deliver hers to the father the twins never knew, and Simon (Maxim Gaudette) is to give his to the brother they never knew they had. The siblings travel to the Middle East separately, where they each experience acts of brutality, uncover a startling family history, and have revelations about themselves.
Denis Villeneuve’s thriller is going to paralyze you. The way Denis talks about humans and their possibilities, this is an era jumping thriller drama which talks about a family and its war torn past.

This is a coming-of-age drama about two best friends who later in the film are attracted to the same woman and go on a road trip with her around Mexico. Alfonso Cuaron blends racing hormones, true friendship, teen fantasies, drama, comedy and sex tastefully.
